About



Blue Firth (b.1981) is an artist living and working in Nottingham, UK. She makes work inspired by historial research into witchcraft, magic and myth, translating this into domestic objects. She works with stoneware both handbuilding and throwing.

She is a graduate of the Royal Academy schools, and in a fomer life made large scale site specific artwork but now works on a much smaller scale from the pottery. She was selected for the inaugral TOAST New Makers in 2019. Her work has been featured in publications inclucing, Homes & Garden, Country Living and Elle Decoration.

Other output includes podcasts on contemporary witchcraft, and teaching magic through creatve practices workshops. She lectures part-time in Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University and writes about art and interiors for TAT London.
